Sensor Detects Low Oil Condition, Features Safety Indicator

Sensor Electronic Contract ManufacturingSituation: A Low Oil Sensor was needed by our customer in order to improve the performance of its products’ engines.

Solution: MEC developed a sensor that would detect when oil in the engine was too low to operate properly, and then would prevent the engine from starting in this condition. We worked with the customer to integrate an LED safety indicator into the sensor to alert the end user when the engine needed oil.
