Located in a 63,000-square-foot facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, MEC Midwest offers excellence in integrated Product Development, Electronics Engineering, PCB Design, PCB Layout, PCB Assembly and Supply Chain Management. While PCB Layout, PCB Assembly and testing remain core competencies of MEC Midwest, the company's fastest growing areas are its Product Development and PCB Design capabilities. The company employs a team of engineers offering customers assistance from product concept to turnkey production. Whether it's product development, electronics design, mechanical packaging engineering or printed circuit board design, MEC can meet customers' increasing need to outsource design and assembly services. Undergoing significant capital upgrades, MEC Midwest's plant includes the latest surface mount equipment for top-and bottom-side SMT and BGA placement. The equipment added for flexible processes for potting and automated conformal coating, along with thru-hole assembly capabilities, allows MEC to service a wide range of product technologies for customers. A dedication to Lean Manufacturing practices has allowed the MEC Midwest facility to continuously improve its manufacturing processes, ensure JIT delivery and quality product. Located just outside of Portland, Oregon, MEC Northwest serves a large number of West Coast original equipment manufacturers whose business models require high service, quick-turn assembly and multi-site resources. Excelling in a high-mix, low-volume environment, MEC Northwest produces circuit boards in volumes ranging from 50 to 2,000 per month. With 55,000 square feet of manufacturing space, the company has invested in machinery and Lean Manufacturing processes designed to accommodate quick prototype assembly, including top-and bottom-side SMT, BGA and thru-hole assembly. The facility includes a high-speed CP6 Fuji line as well as new Fuji IP3 placement equipment for surface mount applications. Further capital investments included a new ERP system used for production and materials planning, forecasting, inventory control, warehousing and distribution. MEC Northwest has the experienced staff to project manage design, R&D or assembly serving many industries, including medical, dental, laboratory, audiovisual and theater control. Located in Tecate, Mexico, MEC Southwest provides manufacturing and customer service proximity for customers located in the Southwest United States and Mexico. This manufacturing location specializes in board assembly and circuit testing. Specifically, customers with SMT and thru-hole electronic assemblies, electro-mechanical builds and sub-assembly, and cable assembly requirements will find MEC-Southwest equipped to service their needs.
