Challenge: A manufacturer of water jet cutting equipment needed an EMS provider with strong electromechanical assembly skills, who could also make design for assembly recommendations.

Solution: MEC provides a box build solution which includes point-to-point wiring, integration of PLC controls and DIN rail construction.

Results: Project is meeting the customer’s needs for quality and delivery performance. Design for assembly recommendations are provided as part of the project launch activity with each new configuration. MEC’s engineering team has also provided redesign recommendations for feature enhancement.
