MEC'S PORTFOLIO OF BUSINESS UNITS HAS EXPANDED IN RECENT YEARS

The last 15 years in North American Electronics Manufacturing have been a challenge, as globalization has forced companies to innovate or perish.  The story of MEC's last 15 years has been the diversification and expansion into several new market segments.  This expansion has helped MEC maintain stable growth during this time by leveraging our core competency - electronics design and manufacturing.  To see a more detailed timeline, visit our History page.

Our focus on expansion and diversification has led us to:

• Create a separate division, MEC Innovation, handling a broad range of engineering services from product development to compliance testing

• Expanding to develop a quickturn, e-commerce electronics manufacturing platform, Screaming Circuits

• Leverage our expertise in motors and motor controls to create Automation Controls Group

• Open a factory in Tecate, Mexico to offer prices close to those found "off-shore," but without all the negatives

• Expand with 2 locations in Asia: a Singapore purchasing office (IPO) and an India Tech Center
