At MEC, we are learning and practicing lean manufacturing technologies and culture, utilizing the Toyota Production System as our guide book. MEC’s Lean foundation is based on 4 principles, or the 4 P’s:
We continually solve root Problems that drive organizational learning The key to MEC’s approach is not any one of these individual elements, but all the elements working together as a system, which must be a part of our culture, practiced every day in a very deliberate manner. MEC’s transformational leaders and associates practice what Toyota calls Genchi Gembutsu, which loosely translated means “go and see for yourself and thoroughly understand the situation.” Based on what we see, we work together to create processes that produce incredible results.
